Well, some call it "woo woo" or even a listening to a "higher power" or whatever you call it...thinking positively and acting positively in any situation can only make it better. (Well that is what I think, anyway!) Have you ever been around someone that is always so down on everything...nothing is good...nothing is right...blah, blah, blah? It just drags you down. Are you fully aware that these thoughts, all 50,000 per day, are singularly the most powerful influences on everything that happens to you in your life and are the reson you have attracted the people you know, the house you live in and the car you drive? In fact the sum total of everyone's thoughts is the very thing that shapes everything that exists, everything that has existed, and everything that will ever exist. You may ask then "if this is true then shouldn't it be possible to bring into existence anything we desire?" Well the short simple answer is YES! It is through the power of deliberate thought that we can create. While thought alone does have the power to bring tangible (cars, houses, boats) and intangible (peace, harmony and joy) things into existence often times this is not enough! Intention, or directed thinking and believing, is enough to create powerful enough thoughts to manifest anything we want but you must also add two other ingredients. Firstly, your thoughts must be backed by emotion. The more powerful the emotion - the stronger the thought. It is essential to create within you the same feelings that you will have when you actually achieve your desire. You actually do this all the time only in the opposite direction. For example, you think of what you are afraid may happen and all of a sudden you feel frightened, tense and may even start to exhibit some physiological symptoms such as sweating or shaking or just get the shivers. Begin to reverse this method of thinking. Think only of what you do want and conjure up the feelings associated with that. How will it feel to meet and marry that perfect person? How will it feel behind the wheel of that new Mercedes or in the kitchen of that new home? The second key ingredient of the three is action! It is neccessary to be prepared to take some action. This is a key point that many personal development gurus leave out! The action that you need to take will not be strenuous or a toil, it will be enjoyable and feel right to you. Each of us here on the planet plays their own special role in the complete operation of the Universe. We are all One, interconnected and interdependent. Your desires will almost always come through some form of action and through connection to other people. Your thoughts do have the power to completely change your life and circumstances. When thoughts are backed by emotion they become an unstoppable force that will carry you to wherever you want to go in life. Does your brochure stand out from the competition, close the deal, and even build repeat business? Most brochures are nothing more than a collection of a few pictures and a few details about a business. However, brochures can and should be used as powerful tools that distinguish your company from your competition. Here are a few things to keep in mind that will turn your brochure into a powerful sales tool. 1. Focus On The Customer. Most brochures are written with the focus on the company. When you do that, it tends to be to “braggy” and you must remember that customers care very little about your business, but are only interested in fulfilling their own wants and needs. So talk about how your product or service meets those wants and needs. Focus on the customer and they will love your business and they will reward you by making a purchase. Make your brochure all about the benefits they seek. 2. What Have You Got? With your customer in mind, it is important to show how your business and what you have to offer them out performs your competition. Be specific. Are you faster? Tell the customer how that will benefit them; such as saving time in their very busy day. Is your product better quality? Tell why it is better and the benefits from the better quality. By doing this, not only will you be persuading prospects to do business with you for the first time, you will also be preventing them from doing business with a competitor in the future. 3. Give. To ensure that your brochure will be kept, be sure to put a special offer on it. For example, give them a discount on their visit or offer them a FREE sample product. By doing this, your brochure becomes a valuable asset to your customer and to your business. 4. Less is more…more or less? There are a couple ways to look at this. Depending on the type of business you have and what you are trying to accomplish, your brochure needs to reflect this. Think about it: do you need to describe everything to the tiniest detail or can you just give them a bit about each of the things you offer? As much as we all like to give ALL of the information WE think the customer wants; it is far more important to give the customer what he or she needs. If we give them too much information, we run the risk of not attracting them enough because there is nothing more they need to know. If we give them too little, then we run the risk of not having them interested in what we have to offer. Give them enough information to entice them. Draw them in. Get them to call. Being that I was in the beauty industry for over 10 years, my brochures reflected the services I offered: haircuts, color, nails, massage, facials. Now most everybody knows that a salon or a spa offers these types of services. So all I needed to do what list the service and the cost, but I projected with my brochure the “feel” of my salons and spas with the colors, my mission statement and a couple tastefully placed pictures to entice them into my doors. 5. Brand Your Business. As important as it is for your brochure to project to your customers what type of business you have, what products or services your offer and what it is going to cost them, you must remember to use your brochure as a branding tool. Your brochure needs to have the same “feel” of the rest of your business. When people see your business, do they see your logo? When they see your logo, are they seeing your business? Most companies that use brochures are not getting the maximum possible result from them. By following these simple steps you can turn your brochure into the ultimate sales weapon. Over the years, I have spent thousands of dollars on brochures trying to get them right. I am one that likes to talk and gives everyone all of the information that I THINK they need to have, only to find out that I could have condensed it to get my message across and not be so “busy” and cluttered. Once I learned that, my brochures were graciously received and accepted as pieces of art with information that was valuable. You can do this too. Remember… 1. Brand your business…USE YOUR LOGO! 2. Several years ago Sherman Unkefer owned two banks, but he left banking to go full time in Network Marketing. But what actually happened is they did some kind of weird mystic Voo Doo Mojo mind trick! Many accept this cruel opiate and forever become sheep for the slaughter others lie and cheat on their taxes forever in fear of the dark cloud of the IRS looming over their heads. Believe It or Not! OK, it’s not all gloom and doom I’ve got some GREAT news that you CAN BELIEVE for sure! There are some sensible men and women in Congress who said “Hey! It’s not good for the country for people to be unemployed, why don’t we offer tax breaks to individuals who want to supplement their incomes with a home based business!” I’m talking about legitimate, legal super easy to understand TAX BREAKS not loopholes! I didn't want to do it! But I did. Then I was glad that I did!  Unfortunately, people sometimes mislabel network marketing as a dirty industry, one where people are money hungry and shameless. However, if we really examine what is at the core of network marketing, nothing could be further from the truth. Rare is the industry in which your job description includes taking someone out to lunch just to hear about their dreams. Yet every successful networker has done it. You know how these luncheons typically unfold: You choose your favorite lunch spot—one that is not too noisy so that conversation is easy and natural. You recommend your favorite dish to your lunch date, and then you pop the question—the dream question. What are their goals? What would they like to expect from their life in 5, 10, and 20 years? The more descriptive our lunch date and the longer they can babble on about their desires, the more you encourage them to take it even one step further. Your interest is genuine. Once they have painted a vivid image of what they want out of life, you say “Let’s see how we can make this happen!” For the first time in years, you’ve restored their hope in long lost dreams.  What is Network Marketing? Network marketing or MLM shouldn't be confused with pyramid selling. Network marketing is literally marketing products through a network of people. This form of distribution is word of mouth or recommendation. Have you ever gathered with your friends and recommended a great movie, a fantastic restaurant or a favorite book? Did you ever get paid for recommending that particular movie, restaurant or book? Well, with network marketing you can and make a substantial income, creating financial freedom and security. Network marketing is an intellectual form of distribution and unlike retailing, the distributors are often very knowledgeable about the products. Large businesses can be built by sponsoring people and teaching them to sponsor. MLM means multi-level marketing and refers to the different levels of compensation provided by the company. By the 1990's more than $100 billion worth of products were being distributed through multi-level marketing, and that figure is growing rapidly. The success of a network marketing business is based upon the distribution of products. This can be through purchases for yourself, retailing to customers, or sponsoring others to purchase wholesale. By teaching your distributors to sponsor, you can help them build a business for themselves by teaching them to teach others to do the same. High quality, consumable products with a good compensation plan will provide a sound basis for a successful network marketing business. Why Network Marketing is Becoming So Popular. It used to be that people got a job, and probably stayed in that company for life working their way up to the top positions of the company. Nowadays people feel more insecure in their jobs and worry about being made redundant. With inflation and the rising cost of living, pensions don't go very far and some don’t even receive pensions. Network marketing provides an opportunity to create a residual income for life. It can be fit in around a full time job, and requires no qualifications. There's no discrimination against age or sex, and there is the potential for financial freedom. Usually there is a minimal start up fee, and with no need to stock up on goods, which makes this a “no risk investment.” The only real investment is your time and perseverance to make it work. Network marketing has enormous potential; especially now because with the internet you are no longer geographically limited. More and more people are choosing to purchase online. Products are usually of a high quality as money isn't spent on advertising or packaging. Instead money is put into the products themselves.  Secrets to Finding Success In Network Marketing. Although you work on your own, you don't work alone. You always have your sponsor and upline to call on if you need help. Before you start any business you must have a plan. Sit down and work out a plan of action on paper. Get your sponsor to help you do this. Determine your "why." When you have a definitive "why" for what you want from creating your financial future, you are more apt to continue even when it seems like it is going a bit slow. Set yourself long term goals. How do you see yourself in five (5) years time? Where would you like to live? What car would you like to drive? Break up these goals up into short term achievable ones. Organize your tasks for each day and stick to them. A good rule of thumb is to spend about 15 minutes before you go to bed at night and look over your schedule for the following day. This way you won't get discouraged and you can see progress in your business, no matter how small. Do something each day to help build your business such as making a point of contacting two (2) people a day. If you did, you would be speaking to 14 people per week, which is 56 a month, or 672 a year. That's a lot of people!!  A really fast and great way to build your business is to work the "5 Rule." Your goal is to sponsor five (5) people, preferrably business builders and teach them to sponsor five, and then teach each of those five to sponsor five. If each person sponsors only five (5) per month, you will have 3125 in your organization at the end of five months! Network marketing really is a numbers game, the more people you talk to the more chance you have of finding prospects and ultimately big business builders. If you don't do anything then you won't get anything and your business won't grow. Even if you only sponsor one person a month into your business, by teaching them to sponsor and purchase the products wholesale you could build up a highly profitable business with huge potential. You don't need to panic at the thought of hundreds of people working in your downline and keeping in touch with them all! If you have a simple duplicatable system that's teachable to others, you can just concentrate on the new people you have sponsored. In the long run it will help your business to grow faster as people won't be put off by complicated marketing techniques.  Become a product of the product. It is vital to your business. Hand out business cards to people you meet. Listen to motivational tapes and read books. A few recommended books are "Think and Grow Rich" by Napoleon Hill, anything by Jim Rohn, and "The 45 Second Presentation that will change your life" by Don Failla. Make use of your company's marketing tools, audio tapes, marketing leaflets, etc., and hand them out to people who may be interested. The audio tapes and leaflets generate an interest. Never try to sell the company or the products: only recommend. Don't try and get people to build a business if all they are interested in is buying the products wholesale. Sometimes you may find that people are just happy to purchase from you and these become your retail customers. Perseverance is needed as well as belief in yourself and the products. It's very easy to quit at something just before it starts to work. Don't ever give up!! It doesn't matter whether you are a Democrat, a Republican, a Liberal, white, black, yellow, purple, short or tall. Network marketing helps people to help people. Hi. What a day! What a weekend! What a life! I have to start by telling you how grateful that I am for today and that I am able to be here to tell you about my spectacular find...XANGO! I won't bore you to death with alllllll the details, but I will catch you up to speed. My husband, Michael, was first introduced to XANGO about 4 years ago to help alleviate his acid reflux. He had great results and has used it on and off over the years. We had owned 3 small wellness spas that offered treatments that helped to detoxify the body and generally help to make people look and feel better. XANGO was a product we had offered for retail. We just didn't quite understand the "business" side of XANGO...yet! About 6 months ago, I was getting quite a bit of heartburn and decided to try XANGO. And I must tell you it helped, but I didn't think too much of it as I felt chewing a few antacids probably would have given me the same relief.
